We caught up with Venkata Gollapudi, a engineer with our Sydney team since 2019, to find out about her experience and skills, what makes a good team member, and her love of cooking.
What do you love about Planit from a technology perspective?
At Planit, technology play an important role in terms of integrating the legacy system into the digital landscape of the business. Planit also thrives on advanced technologies to sustain market aggressiveness and competition.
What do you find most enjoyable about your role as a Planit engineer?
Being an engineer at Planit, I get the opportunity to work with different companies and clients, which has helped me with diverse experiences regarding different projects, and allowed me to work with different technologies, applications, and software. It has helped me with planning my career here and, in turn, with strategising a wide variety of digital transformation practices.
How have you grown during your time here?
I started my career at Planit as an analyst and now I am an engineer. Since Planit works as a consultancy agency, this has helped me to work with different renowned and reputed companies.
Progress at Planit, in terms of career development, is driven by an effective management team. The diverse opportunities as an engineer here provide an opportunity to break free from one’s shortcomings on both a personal and professional level.
What do you look for in terms of qualities in a team member?
An active team member provides visibility to all different associative stakeholders in each scenario. An effective and collaborative team member not only makes a team work well, but also in terms of enabling a spontaneous and informed decision-making environment.
In your opinion, what’s one quality that makes someone successful at Planit?
To succeed at Planit, being adaptive and collaborative are some of the qualities that go a long way. A thorough understanding of organisational requirements is also useful in making the most appropriate strategy in terms of both personal and professional development.
What is something your coworkers would be surprised to know about you? Do you have a special passion or hobby that keeps you busy outside of Planit?
I love to cook Indian foods. In my opinion, cooking is a culinary art which is full of excitement and competition.
