About the Role
Planit's 2-year Graduate Technical Programme will give you all the skills you need to become a successful technical tester. The Graduate Technical Programme begins on 23 January 2018 in Wellington with 4 weeks of intensive training, followed by real project work on external client sites and on-going mentoring and support. You will get exposure to all areas of the testing lifecycle in multiple industries, and be able to apply the test methodologies and processes that you've learned. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in Automation or Performance Testing.
To apply for this role you must be:
- A recent graduate from a NZ university; or
- Finishing all coursework at a NZ University by November 2017; and
- Majoring in Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline; and
- Eligible and available to work full time in New Zealand from January 2018.
The Planit Graduate Technical programme is ideally suited to those with an avid interest and skills in development practices and coding. Previous work experience is not required, as we will provide all the training and support you need.
Applications for the January 2018 Wellington intake will close at 12pm on Monday, 27 November 2017. To apply, please submit your CV, cover letter and most recent academic transcript. Upon receipt of your application, you will then be invited to participate in a short one-way video interview. You must complete this video interview within 48 hours of receipt of the link.
If selected, you will be invited to attend a face-to-face short interview in Wellington in the week commencing 4 December 2017. Following the interviews, successful candidates will attend a 1-week intense selection course in Wellington from 11 to 15 December 2017. Successful candidates will then be offered a permanent role as a Graduate Technical Tester and join the Graduate Technical Programme commencing on 23 January 2018 in Wellington.
