    Decler Hague, Trainer at Planit, has extensive training experience, working both in business and university environments. For more than a decade, Decler lectured in a wide variety of subjects including Information Systems, Business Analysis and Modelling. Decler’s natural teaching style and facilitating ability have ensured consistently positive feedback throughout his career, and are a major asset that he brings to the classroom.

  • Sarah Ireton

    Sarah Ireton, Senior Trainer at Planit, has been a trainer for over two decades, specialising in software testing for the last eighteen. In addition to the delivery of training Sarah has undertaken both consulting and test management roles at a number of Australian organisations across diverse industries and holds a number of testing certifications including ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, iSQI Certified Agile Tester/Trainer and Scrum Trainer Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute. She is also an Associate Member of the Australian Computer Society.

  • Rachel Whitney

    Rachel Whitney, Senior Trainer at Planit, has more than 18 years testing experience with vertical specialisation in finance, gaming, utilities and telecommunications. She’s a knowledgeable presenter and highly skilled across the SDLC in test analysis and design, test execution and test management. Rachel is also an accomplished Business Analyst skilled at writing requirements, business case development and business modelling.

  • Judy McKay

    Judy McKay, is the President of the American Software Testing Qualifications Board (ASTQB) with over 20 years experience in testing. She has managed departments encompassing all aspects of the software lifecycle. Judy has been training for over ten years and is the author of two books - “Managing the Test People” and “A Software Test Engineer’s Handbook”.

  • Colin Thorne

    Colin Thorne, Senior Trainer at Planit, has been a test specialist for more than 18 years and comes from a development background. Across his spectrum of skills, stand-outs include System and User Acceptance Testing. Colin has worked in a variety of industry sectors, in Australia and the UK, most notably with a number of leading financial institutions where he has introduced formal testing. Colin has also been instrumental in the authoring of the ISTQB Advanced course material.

  • Neil Newman

    Neil Newman, Trainer and Senior Test Consultant at Planit, has worked in a variety of testing roles over the past 22 years, with extensive experience in the Finance industry working on projects of varying sizes. Neil is able to readily and effectively explain testing principles and their applications across the SDLC by providing highly relevant examples drawn from his real world experience.

    Leanne Howard is an Agile Practices Consultant with over 20 years’ experience working in software testing. Leanne is a specialist in the implementation of Agile practices and testing methods with a strong focus on client satisfaction. She enjoys sharing her knowledge through mentoring and coaching others to promote continuous learning, and is active in the testing profession both locally and internationally. Leanne is an ANZTB Member and sits on the Australian Standards IT Committee.

  • Christo Bence

    Christo Bence, Trainer and Senior Test Consultant at Planit, has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry. Beginning as a programmer, Christo has spent the past decade working as a test manager and consultant on various commercial and government projects. His experience and knowledge in programming, practical testing and test management coupled with his natural training style allows him to keep his interaction with course participants in the real world; merging theory with practical application.
